Capetown city centre -inspirational conversion of waste land into thriving community gardens - Oranjezicht City Gardens

Very well worth a visit if you don't believe that this is true!  The homeless who once slept on this land have been trained as Vegetable gardeners and given a real " heads up" in life !! Local restaurants bring their kitchen waste to help make compost and take their veges and herbs for free in return.

From hopelessness to dignity on historic piece of land too if you read the most interesting sign

Crickhowell and Sizane High leave their footprint on Ned Doman High in Capetown

What fun as three Principals go off to work out how to beautify the internal quad at Ned Doman and inspire children to improve, enjoy and look after the environment in their school.   To create a "chilled" place to relax in breaks..  Fantastic teamwork at play here and loads of caring from the twins
